Courses & Academic Support
Special Topics & Academic Consulting
Instruction and academic consulting in advanced engineering topics. Support with theoretical approaches, physical modelling and numerical solution methods for individual and organisational needs.
Special Topics
- Thermodynamics of shock and detonation waves: Conservation relations, post-wave states and the thermodynamic foundations of reactive flows.
- Oblique and curved shock waves: Shock polars, wave interactions and reflections; Curved Shock Theory and post-shock flow structure.
- Oblique and curved detonation waves: Detonation polars, wave interactions and reflections; relationships between curvature and flow properties.
- Intake and nozzle flows: Compressible-flow analysis, shock structures, inverse design and methods that track shock geometry as part of the solution (shock fitting).
- Theoretical and numerical methods: Physical and mathematical modelling, development of solution approaches, verification and interpretation of results.
- Machine learning applications: Data-driven modelling for flow and thermal problems, combined use with physics-based methods and approaches to inverse design.
Academic Ethics Principles
All work conducted at Turan Akademi is planned according to the principles of academic integrity, ethical responsibility, and supporting the development of each student's own learning process.
In accordance with our ethical values, no assistance is provided during any examination, and no homework, project, report, thesis, or similar academic work is prepared on a student's behalf.
Support is limited to subject instruction, concept explanation, the development of problem-solving skills, study planning, and academic guidance that helps students better understand and improve their own work.
Support for thesis and research processes is provided only within the scope of academic consulting, methodological guidance, literature-reading skills, problem definition, and technical evaluation; thesis-writing services are not provided under any circumstances.
